Product Performance Dashboard with drill down access to expense approval system

Filed under: Dashboard Screenshots — dashboardspy @ 4:35 pm

These secret dashboard screenshots are courtesy of a Dashboard Spy deep in a major product company that is very hot on the concept of enterprise dashboards. Excuse the censorship, but you’ll see tracking of YTD product performance: actual vs. budget, market share, daily sales, marketing budget, profit and loss, project expenditures, invoices and expense approvals. The second screenshot shows the drill down into the expense approval and tracking module. Good ideas for layout and content. Enjoy, but let’s keep this between us Dashboard Spies!

So what or who is The Dashboard Spy? As his about page states, The Dashboard Spy is just a guy interested in the design of business dashboards. He could not find any executive dashboard design source books and so set about creating his own. Finally convinced to post his extensive collection of dashboard screenshots online, he was amazed to find how popular it has become. If you have a nice screenshot of an enterprise dashboard, balanced scorecard, or any business intelligence graphic to share, please send an email to info _at_ Also check out The Dashboard Spy’s favorite books.

  1. Hi,
I’m looking for information on tracking product usage metrics. Do you have any information on dashboards of how you show/display how and what users are doing with your software product? Are they using the feature functionality the way you expected them to? Are the features the product manager thought were going to be the most popular, really the most popular? What the behavior patterns are of the users etc.? Thank you!!!
